CND rolls out Shellac Hybrid Nail Color

No more chips. That’s the promise of CND’s new Shellac Hybrid Nail Color, a part nail polish, part gel. According to Jan Arnold, co-founder and style director of Colomer Group-owned CND, the launch will generate first-year sales of $25 million to $30 million. Shellac comes in 12 shades and is expected to cost nail salon customers from $25 to $65. It is applied like a polish manicure, but the base, color and top coats are set under a UV lamp like a gel.
